An accomplished international hotel real estate consultant offering a track record of leading and advising on multi-million pound transactions. Has built up a solid network of industry contacts and transactions within some of the world’s leading hotel chains and investors and complements over 30 years industry expertise with the ability to oversee hotel real estate projects from beginning to end. 

Has delivered strategic hotel consulting services and has the ability to quickly assimilate a client’s business and requirements and deliver sales / acquisition, operator selection and development and  investment services.

Selected Achievements

• Provided strategic real estate advisory services to the Mayor of Moscow’s office overseeing the upgrading and privatisation of 8 major Moscow hotels including the National, the Belgrade, the Ukraine, the Peking, the Russiya and the Budapest

• Analysed the performance of the Athens Hilton, delivering recommendations to the Greek state-owned Ionian Bank which formed the basis of the subsequent Operator Selection Process (see case study)

• Analysed trading relating to the World trade Centre Vista Hotel in Manhattan, on behalf of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Facilitated a global sales process resulting in the hotel being sold for twice its estimate to Marriott.Hotels Corp (see case study)

• Led an Operator Selection Process including full due diligence and financial projections for the prestigious Helipolis hotel in Cairo, on behalf of the Babtain Group in Kuwait (see case study)

• Delivered advisory services to a range of hotels resulting in the commencement of a global sales process including the Marriot Hotel in the Champs Elysees (eventually sold to Strategic Hotels of the US), the Lexington Hotel in New York on behalf of the Taj Hotels Group and the Royal Hotel in Durban on behalf of Old Mutual Properties.

• Advised the Spanish Red Cross on a $50m hotel investment on Isla Margarita, Venezuela
